ABOUT
A messenger should not need a company behind it.
Every mainstream messenger, however well encrypted, still runs through one operator. That operator knows who you talk to, when, and from where. It can be bought, pressured or shut down.
MNDO removes the operator. Identity is a keypair on your device. Transport is a mesh of interchangeable Nostr relays. Encryption is the Signal Protocol, applied end to end and at rest. What remains is a conversation between two keys, and nothing in the middle worth attacking.
Three Things We Won't Trade Away
01 — Ownership
Sovereign keys. Zero custody.
Your identity is a key you hold. Not a row in someone's users table. Lose the key and it's gone; that is the price of actually owning it.
02 — Anti-centralization
A protocol, not a platform.
If MNDO the project disappears tomorrow, the relays, the keys, and the messages still work. The network does not rely on a single surviving company.
03 — Privacy by design
Ciphertext over promises.
Privacy policies are promises. Ciphertext is a mathematical guarantee. We prefer the guarantee and keep the policy short.
